Last Days in Paris!

Our last two days in Paris went by way too fast. They started off with a trip to the Louvre, the most visited museum in the world and the site where the students completed their final exam. Students were also given the opportunity to participate in an optional visit to the Catacombs of Paris. The ossuary was created at the end of the 18th century and holds the remains of nearly six million individuals. Also during our last two days, students were given free time for last minute sightseeing and souvenir buying. We spent our final afternoon in the beautiful and historic Marais district where we also enjoyed our farewell dinner.

A very unique and famous fondue restaurant near Montmartre.
Students take their seats. It's a restaurant tradition that ladies walk over the table.
Students take in the fun and energetic atmosphere of the restaurant.
Students start their fondue feast. Notice their drinks, all beverages are served in baby bottles.
Students watch as their food cooks in front of them.
Ben and Moira add their names to the many that cover the walls and ceiling of the restaurant.
Our last group photo. Students left Refuge des Fondus with full bellies and fun memories.
Our farewell dinner, a French-Italian fusion restaurant in the Marais district.
Our last group postcard writing activity.
Students take time to write their final postcards to friends and family back home before dinner arrives.
Julie, Lindsay, Jessica and Nico were excited about their surprise farewell gifts.
